DJ PART/PARCEL
FRIDAY, JULY 31ST, 12:30 AM (TECHNICALLY SATURDAY, BUT WHATEVER)
Hailing from Victoria, BC., part/parcel got her start on the indie-electronic music scene in 2007 by impressing local DJs with homemade mixtapes and good attendance. Though actively guesting nights at British pubs and gay bars, she left the island to move to Ontario where she joined two other like-minded DJs who were also into heavy basslines and danceable beats to form the highly successful collaborative "Gosh Damn!".While still active in this project and its immensely popular Thursday night weekly in Guelph, ON, part/parcel has impressed audiences in a solo capacity with her unique blend of "post-modern" disco/italo and heavy bass electro.
